 With over 20 years of experience, George Copeland, the owner of Copeland Investigations, obtained experience in the insurance industry, with his family's insurance business.  

In the early 90's, Mr. Copeland worked many years in the retail loss prevention industry.  Within a couple of years Mr. Copeland worked his way up to management positions.  

In the mid 90's, Mr. Copeland combined his background and began working in the private investigation industry with a focus on insurance claims investigations.  Mr. Copeland worked many years with Bill Camp of Camp Investigations.

After obtaining a California PI License in 2000, Mr. Copeland began his own company, Copeland Investigations.  Ten years later, Mr. Copeland obtained a Hawai'i Private Detective License and is currently based in Honolulu, Hawai'i.  Copeland Investigations provides services in Hawai'i and California. 

Mr. Copeland worked many years as a part-time contract service employee with the City and County of Honolulu as an Investigator with the Equal Opportunity Office.  

Copeland Investigations serves some of the largest insurance companies in California and Hawaii as well as many established law firms.  George Copeland has been involved in many high exposure fraud cases that have led to convictions.  In addition, he has provided investigative services which have impacted the reduction of loss in many insurance claims.   Mr. Copeland also worked on many high exposure and high profile cases with City and County of Honolulu and with local law firms.  

Mr. Copeland has recently been involved in some successful missing person cases.  These cases are a great source of satisfaction, helping families re-unite.   Mr. Copeland volunteered with Missing Children Investigation Agency (MCIA - Kidfind.org) base out of Burbank California.  In addition Mr. Copeland volunteers as administrator for the Missing Persons Hawaii Facebook Page, assisting in many missing person cases in Hawaii.  

George Copeland is an active participant with HJPA (Hawaii Joint Police Association) .  Previously was a member for many years with NCFIA (Northern California Fraud Investigators Association) and CALI (Califonia Association of License Investigators).  

Mr. Copeland also volunteered his time with PJRC (Pacific Justice and Reconciliation Center) 

Mr. Copeland attends regular meetings, classes and conferences to stay informed in this technical and progressive industry.
